EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT
Woodland Referees Training Reimbursement Policy
The club will reimburse WSC Referees for certain expenses arising from education and training. Training that is sponsored or sanctioned by SYSA or WSYSA for D license level training and below is eligible.
Note: The deadline mentioned in the text below refers to the start of the city tournament, which is usually in mid-November.
1. We reimburse WSC players or those living in our club area for the entry level clinic fee if they have officiated six games at any level for WSC and if they request reimbursement by the deadline. An email reminder is issued by the Ref Coordinator of the need to request it by the commencement of City Tournament.
2. Annual referee registration reimbursement is available if the Referee officiated 6 games (referee or lines) and requested reimbursement by the deadline. Any active WSC administrative volunteer or coach who also refs can get registration reimbursement if they officiated any 6 games during the season.
3. A $35 uniform stipend is available for new youth WSC referees (only available their first year) who do 6 games and request it by deadline.
4. The "deadline" as mentioned above is the date of the beginning of the city tournament, which usually begins in mid-November.
